If your property is a Listed Building or located within a Conservation Area, Theatre and Heritage consultancy will assist with your application to the Local Authority. Due to the sensitive nature of these properties you may find that certain types of development will need specific justification.
We are always happy to provide helpful and straightforward advice about your proposals. It is always best to discuss your intentions initially so that a supported scheme is eventually approved.

Historic Research
Mark Price Theatre and Heritage Consultants carry out detailed historic building research to support both Planning and Listed Building Consent applications. This research can help inform and justify any aspect of your heritage project, from establishing the date of construction to providing evidence for a Statement of Significance.
A search on the appropriate Historic Environment Record (HER) will be undertaken, compliant with NPPF para. 207. It will always take the form of desk-based studies using documentary resources. This can include maps, plans, title deeds, inventories and photographs.
An in depth inspection and analysis of existing buildings and structures on site can also be undertaken. Such examination and analysis has resulted in direct impacts upon the direction of proposals and help secured permission.
Theatre and Heritage has an in depth knowledge not only of theatre, cinema and cultural buildings but of all architectural history and periods.
